University of Bradford

Think Business@Bradford is the university's support for students and graduates to become more enterprising.  They will help with mentoring, networking, ideas and funding leads and their Ideas lab where you can use their facilities to meet clients or hot desk to start your business.   There are also events such as the Entrepreneurs' Boot Camp and Dreamstart conference. 

University of Huddersfield

There is lots of support from the university.  This includes Business Mine to help students test business ideas on campus, the Huddersfield Business Generator providing support to new start-ups including office space, specific advice and support for people wanting to start a business in the Sports, Tourism or Leisure Sectors, and Uni-BIC to help capture and exploit the university's unique intellectual property.

University of Leeds

White Rose Centre for Excellence in Teaching and Learning of Enterprise (WR-CETL) has its own Enterprise Zone to support student and graduates, offering events, workshops, competitions and use of their facilities. 

Leeds Metropolitan University

Business Start Up provides   Information Sessions, Workshops, Business Advice, Competitions, Proof of Concept funding, a Summer School and help with Business Incubation for students and graduates of Leeds Met.

Leeds Trinity & All Saints

Graduate Enterprise provides advice and support including funding for market research and access to the Entrepreneurs' Boot camp - the summer school running in the region.

Bradford Kickstart

The LEGI scheme for Bradford to help promote self-employment and business creation in disadvantaged areas of the city.
